Pet E-collar - Medium (M) SeeCone (tm)- Black Review

I returned this collar because it was sized improperly.....even though I ordered the 'medium' for a small, 16 lb. dog, it still required me to maximize the neck adjustment and therefore the velcro closures weren't 'stable'. Additionally, when my dog laid his head down, the collar more or less collapsed on his face and I was afraid it might interfere with his breathing during the night.

BiteNot Collar 6 x 27 Review

BiteNot Collar 6 x 27

My 6 yr old Lab Molly had a tumor removed from her side. She came home from the vet with a huge lampshade which proceeded to make her and our family miserable. Not only couldn't she figure out how to walk up the stairs, she kept running into our legs. The hard edge of the Elizabethan cone whacked up against our shins. I went to a warehouse pet supply store and bought an inflatable collar. I think Molly was more comfortable but after two days, the inflatable collar punctured somehow when she was in the yard. A friend finally recommended BiteNot and I'm so happy she did. The collar is a huge improvement over the others. Molly was much happier, she could move around easily but it still kept her from biting her stitches. I think it's a great product. I really recommend it.

ProCollar Premium Inflatable Protective Collar Review

When a dog is blind, healing takes on more importance, because the traditional "Elizabethan collar," or "E-collar," places a great deal of unneeded stress due to its plexiglas shape and the sound it makes when the blind dog bumps into things in an environment that suddenly becomes unfamiliar. ProCollar is just the ticket for your blind dog to wear, being comfortable and very effective without the trauma of extending beyond the dog's head or being noisy. Highly recommended by Good Boy, rescued Australian Cattle Dog, and me, his new mom!

Bought this for my cat, who had an abscess drained and kept trying to scratch off his scabs on his face. We got it on him, tight-but not tight enough to choke him (which is easy to do with this thing). It stayed on all of 30 seconds, and he managed to rip a big hole in the cheap material while he was getting it off of him. Might I suggest a stronger material for this thing?? What a waste of $16! I paid extra for the overnight shipping, and essentially got nothing out of it.
