PetSafe Training Systems Probe Pack Review

(More customer reviews)Be aware that this probe pack doesn't fit the Petsafe PIF-275-19 Wireless Radio Collar, even though it "implies that it does."
Just under item's description there is a section, "Frequently Bought Together." This has the PIF 275 in that section suggesting they can be bought together. It's obviously an over site and only a $3 one at that but it's not worth the effort....
The black plastic plates that fit under the probes are NOT SLANTED like the PIF-275 requires. I hope this helps someone not to make the same mistake. I wish someone had put this in the reviews earlier.

(More customer reviews)I have a 7 year old lab----- very very sweet and really really strong---- In the 7 years that I have had her I have tried every collar--- harness-- leash etc that is out there-----this is the first one I have found that she is comfortable in and she does not pull--- when she does give a little pull(like when she sees a rabbit)--it is very easy to control her without injuring her neck which is what I was afraid the collars would do--- we now go on several walks a day which have become fun for both of us rather than a chore for me and for her-----

The meter reader and gardener are both good about keep the gate closed, but I feel better knowing that the reminder is there for them. It's also nice because it doesn't say "Beware of Dog" since both my dogs are very friendly and I do not want to unnecessarily worry anyone. The construction is solid. Holes are not predrilled which gives one the option of drilling them where needed. In my case, I drilled two holes in the middle of each side and a couple galvanized roofing nails keep it secured to the gate very nicely.

Easy Walk Harness - Medium, Black Review

(More customer reviews)This helped me train my dog to heel off-leash. If you understand how to train your dog, this will be an amazingly helpful tool.
However, I found that the adjustments slip very easily. This caused the front chest strap to fall. If I pulled when it fell, I'd be pulling on my pups legs, making him trip.
You CANNOT use this as an everyday harness. It's not made so you can yank on a dog that is constantly pulling. If you do this, you'll run into the "my dog walks at an angle" problem, and find the straps loosening up all the time.
Also, a warning to people with dogs with deep chests relative to height i.e. Boston Terriers, Frenchies, Doxies, Pits, etc. Your dog won't fit the harness so well. It'll take a lot of adjustment, and you'll never get it the way the picture says you should, so don't even bother.

(More customer reviews)i tried 4 or 5 harnesses for my Vizsla before deciding on this one.. my boyfriend (who owns a Canaan) highly recommended this harness. after fitting it on my dog, i decided that it was the best fit for her. within a month, at least 2 other dog owners asked me where i got my harness! they could tell that it was well-suited for a canine. it DOES NOT allow for any pressure on their throat or anterior neck. it is easy to put on, comfortable for my dog as well as being a great-looking harness! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

My Jack Russell has worn a harness for the last 6 years because I feel they provide a more secure hold on the dog that just attaching a leash to a collar, which can come off. This soft harness is AWESOME! It is super soft and almost has a stretchy/quilted feel to it. It fits my dog great, and the snap closure is secure which is always a concern for me. Joybies Hot Pink Piddle Pants(tm) for X Small Female Dog (Measuring 11"-13" From Collar to Base of Tail) Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered the X-Small Hot Pink Joybies piddle pants for my 11 yr/old female chihuahua. She's a "sneaky spotter" if you know what I mean. If you watch her, she'll waddle outside to go potty. But if you're not watching her, she'll go right up to the door and pee on the carpet!
I tried these on her last night. The design is ingenious! Beats my method of making a harness out of duct tape connected to premie diapers with hole cut out for her tail.
These are obviously much more stylish and fit to her body very well and are very easy to put on. The little black bow on the back is so cute!
My only con is that the front flap that goes over her belly is a bit too large. It sags just enough for her to wiggle her legs through the leg holes. But a smaller Joybie would be too small. So I just rolled it down a bit to take up some of the slack and then I velcro the edges. That did the trick for now!
I personally would not pay for the piddle pads that you're supposed to insert into the pants. I stuck a panty-liner in there and cut it to fit... same thing and I always have them on hand ;-)
All in all, this is a great product. Expect at least 1 week processing time. But it was delivered in just a few days.

(More customer reviews)It took way longer to get the product than it should have and when they came in they were not the color I had ordered. I ordered two identical pair for two dogs. The products were not the same color. I measured them as instructed and double checked my measurements and they were both too big when they arrived so I had to have them altered to fit. Because returns are not accepted for not fitting (according to the add online) I will make my own next time as wouldn't be difficult to do and a LOT LESS EXPENSIVE!!!

In fact, they are considerably less startling than a choke chain or even a traditional collar for a dog who pulls excessively on a lead. Some dogs will continue to pull with a choke chain, choking themselves just as they do with a normal collar if they are a tenacious puller. A pinch collar exerts gentle pressure when a dog pulls, encouraging them to walk at your pace. You really only need use the pinch collar every so often during training sessions, before your dog learns how to walk comfortably with you on a lead.

Even with a training collar, I couldn't get in an effective correction. I had tried a regular prong collar, but found it too difficult to pinch the prongs to put it on and off. This collar is very easy to use. My dog even comes and sits quietly for me to put it on her.

Derby Collar - Truffle - Small - 10"-15" X 1" Review

The colors are great because they hide dirt. The buckle is fantastic and I think is the same one that Gucci uses on several of their shoes. I've bought collars from this company before and they really have a great style.
