The Sporn Pull Stop Halter Leash BLACK - LARGE Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My veterinarian recommended I try this halter in order to control a 70 pound adolescent sheepdog who was next to impossible to walk. While the veterinarian admitted had no experience with the halter, an employee in his office had highly recommended its use. She used to have a husky who was a former sled dog and this product was the only thing that would control her husky. Our Ginnie Mae chased cars, stalked animals and seemed to think she was a sled dog pulling me! Choker collars did little to deter her dangerous behavior. She would tug until she backed out of a regular collar. If she saw a bird my arm was torn out of the socket! On more than one occasion, I ended up mid air and on the ground! Daily walks were dangerous and neither one of the kids could walk her.
Our first walk with the Sporn Halter was amazing. This formerly uncontrollable dog never tugged at the leash--NOT ONCE! The halter completely subdued her behavior. The straps around her front legs are not at all tight so the dog seems completely comfortable. It is easy to fit, easy to get on and off the dog and the dog does not seem to be bothered by the apparatus. The Sporn collar can remain on the dog (with the arm straps detached) but I have found it easier to just leave her regular collar on and leave the sporn halter on the leash. No reason the kids cannot walk her now!
I do not know why this apparatus works but it absolutely does!

The Sporn Pull Stop Halter Leash BLACK - MEDIUM Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I like this because it is easy to put on and take off--and it is flexible for when I want to let my pooch off leash but not take off the harness. It helps a little with pulling but is no magic contraption.
I like it for my older pup who I am not trying to train but want to keep from choking herself on a walk, but I gave it four stars because it doesn't stop pulling like it claims.

Herm Springer Pinch Collar 22in Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Very fine nickel-chrome finish and exactly sized as advertised. Works great and does not injure or restrict breathing on the dog...a very big dog, being a 130 pound Anatolian Shepherd!
This has made it much easier for everyone in the family to handle our Lion Dog, and for those of us with recent hand injuries, has allowed dog walking when it would otherwise be impossible. This is a very high quality product, that was delivered quickly and as represented.
It could save your dog, and definitely prevent an arm or hand injury!

Gentle Leader, Large w/ DVD, Color: Hot Pink Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This lead is awesome as a kind way to train your pooch. It takes a few hours for pups to get used to the feel of face straps and passersby sometimes think the dog is mean, assuming the dog is muzzled, but your dog will listen to your commands in no time. We only use ours now in situations where the dog will become very excited such as entering the bark park. Being disabled, this is all the difference between being able to take her, or not. It works!

SENSE-ible No-Pull Dog Harness - Black Large Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We have been using this harness for our 80 pound lab for the past 3 years. It's been the only thing that has worked for us with his pulling. It makes sense since the leash connects on the chest instead of some harnesses that connect on the back allowing the dog more leverage to pull. Our former dog walker loved it so much she recommended it to her other clients. Many of our dog friends bought one too after seeing how well it worked for our zealous lab. A couple of pointers I thought were helpful: Make sure you measure your dog correctly - the girth just behind the front legs. Also, we found that when we walk him with the harness on it helps a great deal if he is walking right beside us with a little slack in the leash. It doesn't work as well if he's way out in front of you.

NEW Adjustable Freedom Small Dog Harness No Pull Black Large Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Ordered a large for my 80 lb shepherd. Beware! Large is for a 40lb. dog tops! So the company tells me after I had to cut it off my dog. This information is not made clear in the description and you have to look at the 4th picture to see a chart that talks about what size for how many inches but does not mention pounds at all. They did a poor job on their product description.

NEW Adjustable Freedom Harness No Pull Black Medium Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I'm a professional dog walker and trainer so it's important to me to have a wide variety of harnesses and collars on hand. Recently I ran into a nice couple who had 2 miniature greyhounds but were unable to find a good fitting harness for them. They're long necks and lean bodies made it near impossible to find anything that didn't hurt their delicate frame. The owners had even contacted a greyhound breeder and organization to ask what type of harness they could recommend, but they had absolutely no recommendations. When we attempted to try these harnesses on the dogs, they fit like a glove. They were perfect and flawless. The dogs seemed comfortable in them and even enjoyed wearing them. Once they were leashed, the owners had full control over the movements of their dogs, without having to worry about either dog slipping out of the harness nor causing harm to their delicate bodies.
I highly recommend this harness to all small dog owners, and that goes double for anyone who owns a miniature greyhound or a dog with a similar structure.

Perri's Officially Licensed Popeye Leash with Hi-res Imaging, Comic Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The durability is certainly there, as well as the image quality on the leather ... My issue was that the leather stops half way up the leash. It looks unfinished with the nylon strap & it would be a lot more durable & attractive with the leather all the way up.

Zack & Zoey Croco Collar 11-14 In Pink Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Just received this.
It's a tad big for our puppy but that can be resolved by punching more holes.
Color was vibrant and the mock croc skin had a pretty shine to it.
Diamond bone was in excellent condition with no missing stones.

Leather Collar w/ Rhinestone Buckle - Black - 14 in. Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a beautiful, well made collar that I wear almost every day. It's very comfortable and true to size (though the holes start a little far in for my tastes. The buckle is very pretty and nicely rhinestoned, and the leather is smooth and won't chafe, and it's slim enough to be worn discretely as an every day collar.

Premier Easy Walk Dog Harness ECO, Large, Sedona Red Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The last harness we had for our dog didn't quite fit right. This one fits perfectly so he's not coughing or gagging. I especially like the complementary color strap so it goes on easier. It's very well made and I also like the fact that it's made of Earth friendly materials. It has made our walks much more pleasant.

IQ 400 yard remote trainer Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I owned one collar previous to this one that I would not even use after the first time because the settings were not flexible enough. This collar has a rolling dial that goes from O-100, I have never used mine above 40. There is also a vibrator feature which is great for recall. I purchased my collar from my dog trainer who trained me and my dog. My primary reason for buying this collar was so that I can walk my dog without a leash and still have recall. Since his training he heels great and I can let him run free when appropriate. It also came in handy when my dog was trying to break down my sliding glass door. They learn quick and then there is peace.
As someone who has been working in rescue for many years I can say that training your dog with shock collars is far more humane than getting rid of your dog because you can't live with him/her comfortably. A well trained dog makes for a good lifetime companion.
