Coastal Pet Black Mesh Cat Harness Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The loop around the neck is not adjustable. When the leash is attached, all the cat has to do is back out of harness, even if the torso strap is secure. My cat has a large build, and he was able to wiggle free almost instantly. This item is not worth your money!

The Sporn Pull Stop Halter Leash BLACK - LARGE Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My veterinarian recommended I try this halter in order to control a 70 pound adolescent sheepdog who was next to impossible to walk. While the veterinarian admitted had no experience with the halter, an employee in his office had highly recommended its use. She used to have a husky who was a former sled dog and this product was the only thing that would control her husky. Our Ginnie Mae chased cars, stalked animals and seemed to think she was a sled dog pulling me! Choker collars did little to deter her dangerous behavior. She would tug until she backed out of a regular collar. If she saw a bird my arm was torn out of the socket! On more than one occasion, I ended up mid air and on the ground! Daily walks were dangerous and neither one of the kids could walk her.
Our first walk with the Sporn Halter was amazing. This formerly uncontrollable dog never tugged at the leash--NOT ONCE! The halter completely subdued her behavior. The straps around her front legs are not at all tight so the dog seems completely comfortable. It is easy to fit, easy to get on and off the dog and the dog does not seem to be bothered by the apparatus. The Sporn collar can remain on the dog (with the arm straps detached) but I have found it easier to just leave her regular collar on and leave the sporn halter on the leash. No reason the kids cannot walk her now!
I do not know why this apparatus works but it absolutely does!

C CAT ADJ '8' HARNESS 3/8'-BLK Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I recently travelled on United Airlines from San Francisco to Denver, with my large male two year old cat & experienced going through security protocol of having to remove him from his Sherpa pet carrier. Fortunately an experienced travellar had warned me of the necessity of removing a frightened animal in a busy, overwhelming sight, and he advised me to purchase a harness and a lead, rather than a "break-away" collar for my pet. It was a fortuitous warning, because my feisty cat can extricate himself from every collar I have ever purchased for him in usually less than two minutes!! He is not abhorring of the harness, and in fact seems quite comfortable when wearing it. The airline personnel shared horror stories of frightened cats freeing themselves from break-away cat collars and running terrified in the airport terminals, during the mandatory removal from their pet carriers. I highly recommend the harness for cat owners!

The Sporn Pull Stop Halter Leash BLACK - MEDIUM Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I like this because it is easy to put on and take off--and it is flexible for when I want to let my pooch off leash but not take off the harness. It helps a little with pulling but is no magic contraption.
I like it for my older pup who I am not trying to train but want to keep from choking herself on a walk, but I gave it four stars because it doesn't stop pulling like it claims.

Rainbow Dots Soft Dog/Cat Harness/Leash Combo *Small* Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The harness is cute, but I had a hell of time trying to get it on my cat. The snaps and velco should not be under the cat as in trying to attach these I got a lot of bites and scratches - ideally these should be located on the back of the cat away from its mouth and claws. Also while walking my cat, something got his attention, he bolted off and I left with the harness and leash in my hand. Perhaps having a well behaved, calm cat will be the best candidate for this product.

Puppia Harness Marine Royal Blue Large Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I thought the Blue Harness had White polka-dots. It does not. The Blue harness' dots are PINK. It is hard to tell online. The Pink is cute but if you want White dots, the RED harness in the same MARINE style has the more traditional White Dots.

Gentle Leader, Large w/ DVD, Color: Hot Pink Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This lead is awesome as a kind way to train your pooch. It takes a few hours for pups to get used to the feel of face straps and passersby sometimes think the dog is mean, assuming the dog is muzzled, but your dog will listen to your commands in no time. We only use ours now in situations where the dog will become very excited such as entering the bark park. Being disabled, this is all the difference between being able to take her, or not. It works!

PETCO Comfort Control Black Dog Harness, Medium Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Very easy to put on. My 16 yr old dachshund is now blind and I have to guide him with a leash, this harness helps because it doesn't pull on his neck like a collar would. The material is light and and seems comfortable for my dog. Wish I had known about this before.

Gooby Freedom Harness Pink Small Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Bought this for my mini dapple dachshund - if you follow the measurements that you can find on the supplier's website, you will be able to get a harnass that fits properly. It is soft, and easy to put on. The straps are very soft and easily adjustable so this harnass will fit around my dog's torso. My dachshund didn't like it because it stopped her from running away at full speed, but I liked it because it didn't cause her to choke herself. I bought a small for my dog, and bought a medium just in case. I gave the medium to a friend that has a full size dachshund, and it fit her dog perfectly. This harnass was also the best price and best quality for any harnass I was able to find on the Internet, or at any local pet supply place. The vendor also sent a discount coupon for any other item I may have wanted to buy directly on his website.

SENSE-ible No-Pull Dog Harness - Black Large Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We have been using this harness for our 80 pound lab for the past 3 years. It's been the only thing that has worked for us with his pulling. It makes sense since the leash connects on the chest instead of some harnesses that connect on the back allowing the dog more leverage to pull. Our former dog walker loved it so much she recommended it to her other clients. Many of our dog friends bought one too after seeing how well it worked for our zealous lab. A couple of pointers I thought were helpful: Make sure you measure your dog correctly - the girth just behind the front legs. Also, we found that when we walk him with the harness on it helps a great deal if he is walking right beside us with a little slack in the leash. It doesn't work as well if he's way out in front of you.

(More customer reviews)This harness is very cute and looks really nice and comfortable on the dog. It is a bit plain so I added some rhinestones to it. The neck only slightly adjust but it is very easy on and off and I am very satsified with this product. Would love a matching leash.

The Company of Animals Clix Car Safe Dog Harness Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I have a german shepherd/lab mix puppy (about 10 months old) who has a ton of energy and whenever he's in the car with me, he would always try to jump in my lap while driving. I had purchased a pet barrier for the back of my car but even that couldn't keep him out of the front seat. Finally I found this item at a local store and thought I'd give it a shot. It works great!! My dog is used to wearing a harness around him when we go out anyway, so getting it on is pretty smooth. This product is great because you can just snap the harness right into the seat belt, I don't have to worry about him breaking free from it. I can now enjoy taking my dog along with me while I run errands, and we will definitely be taking more trips to the park since this product actually makes the car ride enjoyable!
