(More customer reviews)The loop around the neck is not adjustable. When the leash is attached, all the cat has to do is back out of harness, even if the torso strap is secure. My cat has a large build, and he was able to wiggle free almost instantly. This item is not worth your money!

(More customer reviews)I recently travelled on United Airlines from San Francisco to Denver, with my large male two year old cat & experienced going through security protocol of having to remove him from his Sherpa pet carrier. Fortunately an experienced travellar had warned me of the necessity of removing a frightened animal in a busy, overwhelming sight, and he advised me to purchase a harness and a lead, rather than a "break-away" collar for my pet. It was a fortuitous warning, because my feisty cat can extricate himself from every collar I have ever purchased for him in usually less than two minutes!! He is not abhorring of the harness, and in fact seems quite comfortable when wearing it. The airline personnel shared horror stories of frightened cats freeing themselves from break-away cat collars and running terrified in the airport terminals, during the mandatory removal from their pet carriers. I highly recommend the harness for cat owners!

(More customer reviews)The harness is cute, but I had a hell of time trying to get it on my cat. The snaps and velco should not be under the cat as in trying to attach these I got a lot of bites and scratches - ideally these should be located on the back of the cat away from its mouth and claws. Also while walking my cat, something got his attention, he bolted off and I left with the harness and leash in my hand. Perhaps having a well behaved, calm cat will be the best candidate for this product.

Cat Collar, Stretch Elastic with Collar Bell Review

(More customer reviews)When I adopted my two kittens eleven years ago I was lucky enough to find these collars and I've stuck with them ever since.
The entire collar is elastisized so if it gets caught on something (God forbid) it will slide over the cat's head safely. It doesn't have holes punched into it for the buckle so you're able to buckle it anywhere you like for a good fit. The matching bell is easily detached if you're like me and don't want to hear that thing.
The collar wears well. I usually replace mine about every 18 months. Plus it can be cut down if you have a little extra length. (I burn the cut end just a little to eliminate fraying)
The only bad thing is that these specific Scott Pet Product collars are very hard to find anymore; especially at 12 or 14 inches. I feel really, really lucky to have found this seller on Amazon and am happy to report excellent value and service from them.
These are GREAT collars. They come in excellent lengths and good colors so stock up!

Uptown Girl Pearl Necklace for Dog Cat Pet Review

(More customer reviews)This is a beautiful necklace. Unfortunately I had to get it 3 times because it kept breaking!!! The first time I attempted to put it on my 4 moth old pug at the time, it broke. So the seller sent me another, which was quite nice of them. I got it another time after that because it was too small, so they sent another out to me!! I have since had to rethread this necklace with fish wire because it broke once again. Since the seller was kind enough to let me keep the other 2, I gave to my friend and my sister's dogs, but they too have broken. I am not certain if it's because the dogs are active or the string it's on is not strong enough and not meant for DOGS!! None the less, it's a beautiful necklace and my dog looks so darling in it when it's on.

(More customer reviews)My cats have been wearing these collars for a while now, they are the nicest looking collars I have seen.
Pros:
This is the only leather safety release collar for cats I could find! The leather is very high quality and the dye is colorfast and does not come off on their fur. My cats looks very handsome with these collars.
Cons:
I wish they were not quite so wide at the back (the part that goes on the top of the cats' neck) because the hard leather is starting to wear their fur a bit. Also the range of adjustment for size is not very large because the collar rapidly widens and the buckle can't move up around the collar to make it smaller, and it just barely closes on my biggest cat. A keeper for the end would also be nice, for smaller cats the unsecured end sticks out a bit.

Tulip Red - ADJUSTABLE CAT SAFETY COLLAR-BREAKAWAY Review

(More customer reviews)I bought six of these collars for my five cats. (I bought an extra just in case one of the cats lost one.) I thought the colors were great, and I was happy with the idea of the material, as opposed to cheap vynil. They do look fashionable, I think, and are discreet enough to not take away from the beauty of the cat itself. However, these collars are NOT "breakaway" collars. They enlarge if they get caught on something, but this actually only adds its own problems. Several times my cats came home with one leg through the collar (and the collar extended as far as possible). I hated to think what would have happened if the cat had gotten the collar caught on something AFTER getting the leg stuck. One cat finally did come home without his, and I didn't replace it. Another came home with the collar around her chest (both front legs had gone through), and it was constricting her. I pulled to try to get it off, but it was obviously very painful, and in the end the only solution was for me to cut it off. I decided these collars are not very safe after all--too bad I bought six at once (the reviews at the time were pretty good, generally). I've taken them all off, and now my daughters can play with them on their stuffed animals. They look do look cute! I just don't trust them on live animals.

Quick Release Reflective dog Collar Review

Not only is it high-quality, it has a clip (instead of a buckle), which is hard to find with reflective collars (who knows why). And, it stands out better than any other one I've seen. It is highly reflective and, when I take my black dog to the dog park I can pick her out from all the other black dogs, all of which have orange or red collars.

Pet Supply Imports - Red Velveteen Jeweled Break Away Cat Collars Siz 12 Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased several of this collar in multiple colours. Reason? They were pretty. I struggled a bit to get this on Princess, but the trick is to find the size, then "unplug" the breakaway part and put that on. I put Princess' tags on the fastening clamp with her bell. She's been wearing this (in pink) for a year now and it's still doing its job. Every now and then she will manage to get the breakaway clamp unfastened, and I have lost one of these collars as a result. Also, the "diamonds" have come off on each side, and the fastening for the remaining feel rough.
I do love these collars, though, because they are very pretty. Since Princess is indoor only and has a microchip, it's mostly for her to look pretty, not really to find her if she get lost. Breakaway collars are risky if you want people to be able to easily find your phone number and call you, but on the other hand, a non-breakaway collar can kill your cat.
I have given this collar 4 stars because of the issues I don't like about it, but I like it more than the things I dislike. Princess is so incredibly cute with it on!
